This whole episode really also shows how much of a total bombscare the Scottish system is. The SFA who are a donkey organisation anyway, are meant to be the official and internationally recognised authority within Scotland, however they allow private concerns and 'clubs' such as SPFL to play within it and have little or no authority over it.

Its time the SFA stood up and said, SPFL FO and take control of all the competitive leagues and call them leagues from 1 to whatever.

I blame the powers that be for putting forward a vote to try and resolve issues without having a concrete process to ward off any grievances or appeals.
Clubs would always vote in their best interests to appease fans or shareholders.
    The process should have been:

If you participate in the vote you are deemed by default to accept the outcome of the vote regardless of the repercussions from said vote on your club.

My biggest concern is the possibility that irrespective of where it ends up now, Ogren et al decide there are better opportunities to invest in with less hassle

A bit like the psycho bird I met in the 90's, a very attractive proposition at the time but jeez she should have come with a wealth warning and a dozen or so therapists on hand

This guy has been in the press speaking about it before.

The 50/50 chance he’s talking about seems to be compo rather than the stopping promotions.

I still think spfl followed its own rules. Don’t see how there is a decent claim there.

Spfl should put out the fixtures now, less than 6 weeks to go

I used to like Ann Budge, - and I completely respect her desire to do all in her power to save Hearts, and have no problem with that.

What I find utterly despicable is her attempt to bring down United, Raith and Cove. They have done nothing wrong. Budge's complaint is with the SPFL, so to pick on another three specific clubs to be financially harmed is beyond belief.
United played all season to win the league and get promoted, and we were top from day one. Hearts on the other hand have been fighting relegation all season, and are mainly in that position due to Budge's wrong decisions with her managers, and their subsequent decisions. To ignore her failings, and then try to redress the situation by blocking promotion is shameful.

Budge wants fairness and clubs should not suffer financially, but she is willing to inflict catastrophic damage to these three teams. This shows how bitter she is, and has no respect for fellow clubs. She is happy to see other people's life's ruined as long as she survives. Pretty sad to be so vindictative,

Sorry Ann, your complaint should be against SPFL not United, Raith,Cove.

She wants United's place in the Premiership, simple as that.

Ive got a copy of hearts and thistles petition for the court of session. All around that they are saying the season didnt end as therefore they cant be relegated. Pretty flimsy and is against 5 parties - spfl, us, raith, cove and stranraer. They really are cvnts trying to do this. I think their case has one fatal flaw in it. Season did end, and in accordance with the rules. They even have the para in their legal documents that unravels it all.

Rule A4 of the Rules defines “Season” as:
“the period of the year commencing on the date of the first League Match in a
Season and ending on the date of the last League Match of the same Season or
otherwise as determined by the Board and which includes the Close Season.”
