Better than most suggestions, apart from possibly Robinson, Wright at a push (rate Houston higher than both tbh)
The making of a manager is how he deals with pressure. How he deals with things not going right. When the going got tough, Houston threw in the towel, both for us & for Falkirk.
Tommy Wright on the other hand, is renowned for going thorough bad spells at St. Johnstone but turns it round every single time.

Not to mention Housite and his 4 favourite centre mids across the middle. Flood, Rankin, Robertson, Armstrong. NAE WIDTH!!!

That was in a different league though. With our financial clout we should have been skooshing that league and able to play attractive football. We didn't.

If someone wants to go then let them, personally happy that Robbie is away, never in my lifetime has a winning team's manager been so uninspiring with team selection, team set up and inability to change things during game. We 'won' league because of shankland and any manager even laszlo would have with his goals.
Houston very doubtful given his cosy positions with celts and SFA. Wouldn't want anyone without Premier league experience especially in 1st season back.
If not Ross or Robinson then would much prefer Levein to Wright as a better fit for the club, only doubt would be if he and current owner would work well.

I do hear that Derek Adams is sniffing and wouldn't be against that either

Would levein coming in with Daly as assistant looking to become the boss in few years be an option? Somebody also mentioned Flood who does have that bit of mentalness about him as part of the management team . 3 boys who do have a feeling for United. Levein also has the ability to find a playet
