Seems like the press are finding anyone with links to Ogren and putting out a story about them.

Scott Burns, one of the more decent journos, has us having McCulloch & Forrest on the shortlist whilst saying Wright & Levein aren't serious contenders.

We could probably do a lot worse than keep McCulloch and Forrest to be fair. They would get my backing anyways

what about a LM and GF co manager thing like they did up at county with ferguson and kettlebell?

doesn't put too much pressure on either if they went as main man themselves plus could stop any problems if they both wanted top job and 1 got it over the other?

id rather we went and got someone else in but for continuity might not be the worst thing?

Unless the board are going to bring in 3-4 top quality players absolute minimum, I'd be looking at a tried and tested until we establish ourselves, someone who can get best out of what we have, because in my opinion our squad is not better than 12-9th place as it stands.

He lasted 8 games at Killie when he was made permanent manager before being punted. We can't be taking chances on someone like McCulloch, surely?

For me if Hearts want to take Forrest or McCulloch then say great pay the compo then there yours. Allows new manager to bring in his own staff. For some reason i think Forrest will hang around like Ellis did, where he was highly rated within tannadice and will be part of next managerial team.
