Not quite a transfer rumour ......

Sheffield Wednesday's legal fight with the English Football League will start on Tuesday (yesterday) in a potentially significant development for the Championship season.

Wednesday's battle with the EFL over charges of breaching Profitability & Sustainability rules is being heard by an independent disciplinary commission this week, after the dispute was brought forward following complaints from a number of rival clubs.

‘Independent disciplinary commission’ that means they’ll get off with it then. Absolutely no bottle the EFL when it comes to dealing with big issues.

Possible in a year or two but farrar is only 17 or 18 I think, so it may take him 2 or 3 years in academy before he’s ready to train with the first team. Who knows

Somebody posted a squad picture the other day from I think 1970.

Had Jim Furnell, McDonagh and Tunks. What a strength in depth that was.

A number of Championship clubs, including South Yorkshire rivals Rotherham United are interested in signing out of contract Doncaster midfielder Kieran Sadlier. #DRFC #RUFC

    Barnsley have released

    Kenny Dougall
    Sam Radlinger
    Dani Pinillos
    Mamadou Thiam

Nowt there for you lads to be too bothered about at this level .

Dougall is a defensive midfield player who has the ability in my opinion but does get injured far too much .

Thiam has explosive speed but is far too much hit and miss for me .

I’d like it if he signed for us, since we are a small drive away it would be a simple move for him

If Kieran Sadlier doesn't sign for Doncaster Rovers then Hull City may be favourites for his signature.

McCann at Hull signed him for Rovers and he's played under McCann a few times.
He looks a decent player who could step up to the Championship.

That’s providing hull don’t get relegated, he’s not going to sign for a league 1 club if there’s championship clubs wanting him. Could be one we have to wait for to see what happens
