That might change of course now McClaren has turned us down. Not saying he'd be my choice but I'll be happy to take the cash and give him my full support if it is to be him.

In a matter of days we could end up flirting with the top 6 or relegation. Its ***** its an experienced manager.
There was obviously enough interest from him initially to merit an interview. Absolutely no harm in that. You then offer it to the best candidate. If he turns it down, you move to the next one. Unfortunately I think a section of our support will stop 'the next one' from being offered the job.

I agree with you and i also think MacPhee may take us down.He has been in and around the Hearts dug out since Neilson left and that episode in their history will be remembered for abject failure.

I want no **** with a link to them, I'd hope the club feels the same way but fat Tony's probably not as vindictive as me 😂

Hardly. For what its worth I have no problem with Mackay being appointed and I'm not 'offended' by what he said - it was just stupid as f uck. But people who are offended by that shouldnt be shot down for not wanting someone with that in his background connected to our club. Just as people who are all for Mackay shouldnt be scalded for seeing past these issues. Everyone has their different beliefs.

Snowflakes, however, is a term used by people who usually have quite extreme views on something and want to try and make it look like those views are OK by shooting down the people who challenge those views as being weak-minded/sensitive. It has got nothing to do with Dundee United's search for a new manager ffs.

MacPhee isn't even entering my thoughts tbh. I'd be absolutely astonished if he was to get the job.

wasnt to do with uniteds search for a new manager it was the term snowflake genrically. i find the term funny and was attempting some industrial language ironic humour. It clearly didnt work lol.
