Contrast this with my own experience today.
Brought one employee back from furlough last week. Thought it was a good time to bring them in and give the lads and lasses who have been working throughout this crisis, an opportunity to get some holidays booked and have a break.
Guess who asked for two weeks holiday today, commencing next week?
You couldn’t make it up. Some people in our society need a right royal kick up the arse.
Come the autumn, I will be employing less people but paying more in wages.
