I have to agree with you Grist. There's a lot of anger building here and a race war is on the horizon. BLM protesters getting away with defacing property, destroying statues, looting etc. and anyone (usually white) who dares to stop them (e.g. painting out BLM 'artwork' as graffiti is illegal) is being put under scrutiny.

What gets me is the complete misuse of statistics to back up the BLM agenda. 13% of the general population is black but 25% of deaths in police custody are black therefore it must be racial bias. No mention of the percentage of the criminal population who are black. Might as well say 99% of deaths in police custody are criminals but only 0.1% of the general population are criminals therefore criminals are being discriminated against.

Same here in the business I work in. Only around 10% of our train riders are black but 20+% of our fare evasion cases are black so the 'left' arm of the Seattle council want us to explain why we are discriminating against blacks. No thought that maybe we aren't and simply that they evade paying fares more than any other race. There may be underlying reasons for that but it's not down to our fare evasion officers (who are from every race and ***ual orientation) discriminating against them.

I think it's to avoid any real real change at the top, the richest and most powerful stay that way. Downsizing middle-aged white men and bringing in more "diversity" lower down doesn't really affect them.
