By the closing of the window on October 5, we will have 9 games plus however many in the EL...not only enough to set up our season if we keep our star midfielder but plenty to prove DT can still hack it before being sold with - effectively - two years left on his contract.

So it would seem highly counterintuitive to me that we'd sell for less than we think he's worth right now when there's little to be lost and lots to be gained by waiting just a few months.

Unless, of course, we're bluffing about his fitness...
