So they are! It was definitely Tannadice to Tynecastle initially was it not? I'm sure read about them setting off towards the Tay Bridge, into Fife and then being unsure of what route they were taking from then on. Makes sense I suppose, finish at Tannadice. I did wonder how they planned to meet up with the Cove guys if they were in Edinburgh!

Not sure, but when I first heard/read about it I did think it said "walking to Tynecastle" well that is what my first thoughts were. Maybe some lazy journalist jumped to the same conclusion and put it out in print.

That aside, tremendous effort from the guys. Donations from all over too, other clubs, businesses, other fans etc. My favourite one is the fiver fae Budgie accompanied by that hilarious picture again.

However ordering folk to take 6p in the £ is seen to be ok

    Fun logic
Ok glad you've cleared that up for us...so the next time anybody gets asked in the town if you have any spare change... remember they're not beggars...no sure how everyone has managed to OVERLOOK this...FFS🙈🙈🙈

No sure who that is...but anyway the money that's been raised is a great effort no doubt about it...but it has came about because your club has asked/begged/needed a help to pay a bill that's coming your way...now whether it's justified is another debate...I don't understand why the 3 teams ended up in court... United Raith and Cove have done nothing that I would've felt the need to hire QCs... they've nothing to defend...and for me the 3 clubs have been badly advised by someone...but as usual people are making a lot of money from the situation and once again the fans are asked to dig deep...

Your definition of beggars is wrong.
Utd are asking for donations to fight a case brought about through no fault of their own.
We are not homeless or hungry.
We have made a clear statement and if folk chose to donate that's their choice.

To be clear before you twist my words, I acknowledge ours is not the same plight but a straight question,
would you call the folk who ask for money working on behalf of children in need or sport relief beggars?

He is BP33 who got suspended last week apparently. The three clubs have not been badly advised they were dragged through the courts by Hearts and Partick.
We were named on the petition that was raised in the court of session, that means in layman's terms we are defendants in the case and MUST attend.
With all due respect Peter you could hardly expect us to carry out our duties to the letter of the law without legal representation could you?.
