After Boris has said fans will probably be allowed back into stadia in October it makes you wonder if anyone's talking to each other.
The football authorities are suggesting a mid September restart but fans might have to miss the first two weeks.
Disappointing if you,re a Manu fan but devastating if you are the owner of Accrington Stanley or Macclesfield.
Potentially reducing the transfer budget if you are Tony Stewart
For the sake of two / three weeks surely there has to be a compromise so the two dates will align
I'm sure you are correct Cam but surely the 20% or whatever should be at the first game
NYS could hold 4k safely. There's no need for away fans. Use all 4 sides.
Which 4k is another question
It has been revealed that this overpaid(at least than 25employees are on salaries bigger than the PM) organisation has released false figures on the statistics regarding Corona deaths.People who have been tested positive and later die through some other ailment are classed as a corona death. However in Scotland and N.Ireland positive tested people are taken out of the equation after four weeks and if they die through non corona reasons they are not included in the total recorded Corona related stats. This same kwango management were responsible for the disastrous supplying of PPP.No stone should be untuned when they eventually have the enquiry in to this handling of the pandemic.
I mentioned it in the Coronavirus thread but no-one commented.
I think that they're been exaggerating how dangerous and deadly it is so that people stay at home and keep away from each other to keep it from spreading, so maybe they've done it for the right reason, but they've been too effective and now they need people to go out and spend they're too scared to leave the house.
In my mind conspiracy only gets considered when incompetence is ruled out.
Someone clutching at straws here. We have known for a long time that data is collected differently between nations, therefore comparisons between nations are meaningless, save for a headline in a newspaper. However, When looking at excess deaths over time, which will be a more reliable measure it still paints a bad picture. So which ever way you look at this it wont be good.
As for the salaries, i have no issue with that if those on salaries at this level are accountable. I suspect though, that rather than blaming the individuals they should look at the system set by gov (a command and control system). eg a bit like measuring the performance of a striker when the team is set up to avoid losing.
