Heard Cammy Smith was good in the last game looks like MM will give him a chance

    Hopefully.

Sounds like we did ok, but again..... FEAR..... looking at that team. Would be interesting to know what formations were played.

I know its pre-season and cant read too much into it as the most important thing is fitness and players being ready for the start of the season but the squad still doesn't give me any confidence going into the season. i did expect us to have made at least a few signings to give us more depth by now. Ill try not get too anxious with it and try and enjoy the buildup to the season.

Would have liked the media team to have given some updates or something to keep people in the loop during the game.

Yeah, its a very weak squad, especially when you look at the substitutes.

i dont like to be negative and i want to be optimistic about the season like everyone else but i just can't help feeling dread when seeing the lineups we've put out. you could argue we are going into this season weaker than we ended last season.

I might just being over-dramatic but i hope MM has the current group prepared enough. 1 or 2 injuries and we are relying heavly on young boys in the starting lineups never mind the bench

It's a concern, there's no doubt about it. We're going into the Premiership season with a Championship squad. Whilst most of the Premiership sides haven't been signing many players themselves, they've also not lost that many first team players. Most have just lost the strength in depth by letting youngsters and out of contract fringe players go.

Loved the driving run from defence from Robson, unlucky not to score

Him and Smith on the other side will be big players of they can stay fit

Both need to really up their game before they can think about being 'big players' imo. Robson was terrible towards the end of the season after a bit of a purple patch. He's very erratic and his decision making is so poor at times. Smith I thought was a bang average Championship full back. I was expecting a lot more after all the fuss prior to his signing

I hope someone has handed Micky a copy of Hibs away in the Scottish Cup.That will give him an idea of where we are defensively.
