Have to say it has happened a few times, especially in the PRemier league that sides get beat by us and then they sack the Manager.

First time I can recall a club sacking their Manager after they have beat us and then stayed up!

Never understood some clubs who move to sack the Management team at the slightest thing. Costly and usually when done too soon a complete waste of time.

    Unbelievable!

Remember Watford, they sacked Javier Gracia after four (4) rounds this season, yes 4 defeats but come on? Last season he took them to, I believe, their best finish in the PL ever plus an FA cup final!

I think mate, they finished last season badly and coupled with the start this season they then sacked him.

    Ludicrous decision.

A good bloke and a good manager who will easily get another club.

If Bilic goes I’d be more than happy with Cowley and his brother.

Not for me after watching their tactics on Friday their gamesmanship from pretty much the 1st minute was shocking it was far worse than anything Pulis ever did.

It wasn't helped by a s hit ref who did book steerman for booting the ball into the stands when it had already gone over for a throwing. Absolutely c rap ref.

We need a fair, strong ref on Wednesday.

I wouldn't want Crowley anywhere near our club tbh Mick. I agree it was harsh sacking him as I'm not sure who would do any better at Huddersfield but I've always thought he's a student of the Pulis / Warnock school of football.

I think it's ironic that supporters suggest this is a harsh sacking when many would have been happy to say goodbye to Tony Pulis after doing the same for us. They brought the Cowleys in for a specific job. They've fulfilled their employers expectations and will no doubt be handsomely compensated. At the same time the Cowleys have show cased themselves at a higher level than they were able to at Lincoln. I don't think it's as harsh as it appears on the surface. The Cowleys may even get onto a better gig while Huddersfield drop next season instead. Football can be funny like that.
