Not sure about that Gru, I’ll admit he probably could do a job for us but when we have Smith I don’t see any point, I’d prefer a younger one in but I wouldn’t rule him completely out

The problems is if Smith were to get injured we don't really have anybody in the squad who can do a similar job, I don't think it'd hurt to have another target man. Probably one of gru's more sensible posts to be fair to him, however I'd be surprised if we were to actually sign him.

According to Voetbal International, Fortuna Sittard captain Jorrit Smeets is on his way out of the club and is heading abroad.

The midfielder has been with Fortuna Sittard for four years and is now coming into the final year of his contract.

VI is reporting that Smeets will now head for his first foreign adventure with Rotherham United, St. Pauli and VFL Bochum all interested in the 25-year-old. Rotherham United are said to be the most concrete.

Smeets previously played for Roda JC and has made 107 appearances for Fortuna Sittard.

I don't think he would personally, I'm also not sure Warne would want him. He's made it clear he preferably wants players on the way up in their career that we can improve.

I think that's a bit of a harsh comparison, at least he's been playing (if only from the bench) and scoring recently. Blackstock had been injured for a couple of years when we signed him hadn't he?

Came off bench for forest a few times both old and both were never first team quality, would he get in over smith vas and ladapo? No
