Comes across as a right pompous arse hole. Is he really a QC?
It is an indisputable fact that Wigan Athletic were placed into administration on July 1st 2020.
With regards to this very fact though, you can argue that because the usual season ends on the 30th June (Officially for contracts of players etc) that this was the reason why it happened on this date - were they trying to be smart ar5e5 - abit like when Ken Bates tried to put Leeds into admin the day they were relegated anyway (As well as Leeds trying to get the game called off by doing a pitch invasion!), only for th FL to punish them even more the following season for trying to get around the rules.
Also, the clubs agreed unanimously to extend the season beyond the 30th June. Would be interesting to see if Wigan were one of these clubs.
Stopped reading at point 1 - this is not administration it's liquidation. If WAFC have been liquidated then they do not exist anymore so bye bye start up again at the bottom of the pyramid
Wigan represented with David Phillips QC and the procedure could cost up to £500,000 with the tribunal with the decision NEXT WEEK don't look good to me
