We can all read map, we can all count, we all know the problems Covid is causing worldwide. What we're discussing on this msgboard is our government's chaotic, shambolic, incoherent reaction to it, which is devastating the economy, disrupting millions of lives, putting millions out of work and will consequently lead to far more tragic loss of life than Covid is causing, or ever will cause. See Post 5 above for a fine example of what I'm talking about.

Everyone was warned about the pandemic last year. I fail to see what politics has do with it....some people refused to follow the simple advice, wear a face mask to avoid spreading the virus. It may be their choice, but if they are inflected then it's a stupid and selfish choice....in my opinion.

Face masks are not worth a fart map. In surgical/hospital situations a resounding "Yes", in day to day walkabout they are pure bollox.

Ive seen more face masks thrown away on the floor than on people's faces,they are throwing them away like tab ends..the dirty beasties need fining for it if caught.
