Agreed, Furberstreet, and there are some of us remember Steve Walters downward header bouncing over everyone for 3 points at Deepdale on a similarly bouncy surface. The hybrid playing surfaces don’t impress everyone, and I don’t want to see one at Gresty Road, but are they really worse than the old Baseball Ground mudheap or the sandpit at Rodney Parade?
