They need to start getting the deals across the line soon for the players to strengthen areas of the team where we are weak otherwise they won’t be fully Bielsified by the start of the season and won’t play (other than Ben White but think that ship has sailed).

Rumour Douglas may be going to Celtic which may mean the Rico Henry rumour coming to us has more legs.

Maybe, but the season opens in less than four weeks, and anyone who thinks we can wait until close that date for new signings is living in cloud cuckoo land. If we don't have proven PL-capable signings by the end of August, we will struggle to get any that might come in after that time in shape and "Bielsafied" (just look at what happened to JKA when he was expected to get fit for once) for seasons start. If we wait until AFTER the season begins, e are simply giving those players who got us into the PL a millstone of likely poor results and chasing points that ought not to be necessary.
