The way we play football the club could have saved a few quid and put any of us up front. Hardly can say I am inspired by a loan signing of a player who isn’t even a proper striker until January. Would rather we gave the young lad Ruth a chance.

Watkins didn’t seem to me like he had any pace at all.
A poor mans Adam Rooney is how I think of him.
Reckon he’s not going to score much and we’ll need him to be the hold up player to allow our midfield to link.
A loan therefore makes sense until Cosgrove / Main is back.
Hope I’m wrong and he does brilliantly for us.

By giving Ruth a chance do you mean giving him one start pumping high balls to him, not having anyone within 30 yards of him and then dropping him whilst dereks disciples on here tell us he’s crap and not good enough for Aberdeen.
