Although that doesn't explain the ignoring of loose instead of lose. Or there instead of their. Those must be almost criminal in your and the fellow spelling police. I wonder why you let that one slide so often? But get annoyed about Osborne being spelt incorrectly. The lack of consistency is all over the place.
It might depend on the person who wrote it whether it gets ignored or not.

They love the word sauce instead of source...
I think the spelling police masturbate over that one at night...?!
However don't put in an apostrophe and they want to tar and feather you..!

To be fair quite a few people on here intentionally use the wrong source/sauce as it was a thing in the Munto days when people were popping up with rumours constantly and they were asked if their sauce was HP (good).

For God's sake laddo can't you please stop using LOL for everyone's sake including your own, I get the impression you're not a 10 year old girl so why talk like one.

I suppose it's up to him whether he uses 'lol' or not, but seeing as it stands for "laugh out loud" you would expect it to follow something he's typed that is vaguely humorous. The problem is that laddo invariably uses it where most of us would just use a full stop.

Like I say Freeman, this sums up the spelling police
They cream themselves on here about a tired and jaded outdated once witty remark.
    Oooh how we laughed !
They proceed to drag people through the mud and reveal their dreams & aspirations of being one of the ladies from countdown.
It wouldn't surprise me if they Don a blonde wig and a mini skirt and mince around the house in their spare time calculating such sums as 2 × 10....
Or a long black wig and glasses and sit there thumbing a copy of readers wives pointing out the spelling mistakes in the letters page, whilst cracking on off !
    SAUCE...X

Why for my own sake? Explain CF.

I thought the "Spelling Police are bent" was funny and accurate. It has now been identified that they are systematically prejudiced on here. Not to American law enforcement or Met. Police levels but getting that way.

Maybe, just maybe, I will use it even more often and regardless of whether I think something is funny or not.

It takes a special sort of person(s) to get all worked up or turned on because of a spelling or grammatical error on the football message board.

Each to their own I guess but I'd rather grow vegetables. I am laughing out loud.
