Anyway I'm thinking feckin hell we look a bit all over at the back , getting run ragged here , Andy Carroll scores first goal so still haven't clicked .

Then Newcastle score again , so I'm thinking what's happened to our equaliser and besides that Newcastle scored wi a pen dint the ?

I'm only watching Newcastle's last friendly ageen Crewe ffs !!!!!

Well Crewe wer playing in red shirts and white shorts !!!!

Just watched Newcastles 2 goals didn't show our goal I know it's a friendly but the cross to an unmarked caroll on his own at edge of area with our defenders just standing there and no other Newcastle player to be seen school boy at its best

From what I've read if we'd taken our chances we'd have won the game .

Got to start putting more away for us to really kick on this season , no good playing like we did at Elland Road and still coming up short like we did that day .

We will always concede at least one a game which to be fair is an improvement on the two's and three's we were conceding at times last season .

The goalscoring seems to be an area that's going under the radar because in my opinion it's the difference between the bottom 3 and lower mid table .

We need this time an extra 10 to 15 goals from the squad to keep us away from the trap door .

I know you can't tell too much from highlights but it looked like we were all over em. Should have won easy.

We need somebody to hit the 10 or 11 mark to compliment Woodrow and Chaplin getting the same tally they did last season .

Whether Styles can do it I obviously don't know but that's where we are in reality looking at attaining a lower mid table finish .

Hopefully Schmidt can kick on this season and provide stiffer competition for Woodrow and Chaplin rather than just coming off the bench on a last throw of the dice scenario .

Brown , Thomas and Simoes need to get amongst the goals and get us between them those 10 to 15 we are going to need to keep ourselves away from the bottom 3 .

I'm looking at this as a squad effort rather than having the luxury of a 25 goal striker plus others getting 15 to 20 which clearly we don't have .

An early goal this season for Woodrow would be nice , it's been a while .
