Excellent performance - first class.

Once we got a grip of the game after about 10 minutes we absolutely bossed that. Top notch.

That’s what I want to see. Excellent high pressing up front & midfield. Quick, crisp passing, movement & link up play & created some decent chances.

That’s the only wee complaint about the lack of cutting edge up front, but Watkins put in another fantastic shift up there & won us the game with his harrying for the pen.

Pass marks for all today. Can’t fault any of them, but special mention for Hoban, who given he’s just back & has hardly played in 18 months didn’t put a foot wrong.

Hedges was good again and a real threat. The Alice band can bide if he keeps playing like that. Him & Wright really work well together & have a great understanding so we need to build on that.

McCrorie though - absolutely immense. Pressed, harried, broke up everything they tried to do, got the ball down, made good intelligent passes, linked up play & covered every blade of grass.

He’s some size of a unit too, but can play. He will absolutely do for me.

I really enjoyed watching us today so fair play to DM & the players. Play like that every week and I’ll have no complaints at all.

We’ve got a really decent squad too with great competition which can’t do any harm either. Hope we can keep it together.

Great result today, thought we looked decent attacking wise and solid defensively.

McCrorie looks like he will be a good player for us,Hayes,Wright,Hedges and Kennedy caused them problems.

I think Watkins is playing his part in that too, Cosgrove is a goal scorer but his link up play is terrible so I imagine if he was playing we would be resorting to hoof ball like last season.

Looks like Ferguson and McCrorie are forming a good partnership.

McGeouch looks like he is getting back to his best plus we have Dean Campbell so we don’t really need Bryson and Ojo.

I fully concur wi yer heartfelt sentiments by the way, but it is also extremely satisfying to watch their output utilising some technological subterfuge and skullduggery meaning they don’t get a fuuckin penny of yer hard earned for the privilege.

I highly recommend it for the deep feeling of satisfaction it engenders in yer bones...
