I'm concerned, I want to see some new faces and I don't think what we have is enough to keep us up. But equally, we don't know what is going on behind the scenes. And you can only judge the transfer window at the end of the window. So for now we will just have to wait and hope.

Of course we do. Go back 6 weeks before the start of last season and we didn't have a manager and 8 starters against QPR hadn't kicked a ball for us. We pulled enough rabbits out of the hat then and we can do it again.

Do what you want but don’t knock other people’s views. The majority of West Brom fans are totally pissed off at the pathetic lack of activity in the transfer market. If you think otherwise that’s your view but you are in the minority!

Look, we are all Albion supporters and we all want the club to enjoy a reasonable amount of success on the pitch. I feel sympathy for Dowling and Co. because I suspect that he is only able to operate within the constraints imposed upon him by Lai. None of us know what is in Lai’s mind, to sell or not to sell, maybe develop the land around the Hawthorns that came with his deal. What seems to be clear at the moment is that he wishes to keep expenditure to a minimum with the hope that it will be enough just to keep us up. If that is the case, it doesn’t bode well for our entertainment prospects. It could well be that Mark Jenkins knew very well what the situation is and decided that there was nothing more that he could do. So come on folks, fellow Baggies are not the villains here, direct your dissatisfaction and anger at the runt in China. I’ve been on this board for a long time now and I don’t want to see it’s demise. You can say what you like on here, unlike some other forums that are policed by little ‘Fuhrers’. Our club will not have a chance to prosper until Lai is gone. So, it’s f**k off Lai, not other posters.

There are many rumblings about our lack of transfer activity and I know enough supporters to know - many are not happy! Then again with a much weakened squad that was promoted some may think we can still challenge and our strikers are more than good enough for the Premier League! Everyone to their own.

We all have dreams which is why I have just put 40 quid on tonight’s Euromillions! You never know! Who would have thought little Harrogate Town who used to get 150 supporters will now play Bolton and Bradford

I have no problem with people like Prando who are super positive about the club,I get on well with Paul but what I don’t like is posters b I t c h I n g off constantly about other posters who have issues with the club.

Pretty much how I see things to be honest. You don't have to be a brain surgeon to work out we need reinforcements. At the same time we have very little idea of behind the scenes machinations. It's frustrating. I understand much of the angst expressed on the forum but it's vociferous and personal nature can be taxing.
