Are you related to Alf Nasty? 🙈
Heres some big big Burnsley Lancashire garbage newspaper gossip...
" Burnsley's own favourite so called se*x symbol Ray Hankin, is going to make a come back with Leeds. "
(ps, I dont know who he is or who he was, I only know of him because of those impressive 'Wilderness years' videos on Youtuub.)![]()

Footwork - Open stance or Closed stance dilemma ?
Pic 1.
The closed (sideways) stance is natural for me as it allows feel of the ball on contact and good weight transfer into the ball via an effortless swing,it's more me as its more aggressive and similar to the boxing stance footwork I was taught as a kid by my Dad.
As I lean forwards my left heel raises and left knee bends causing right heel and knee to follow - pic taken split second before that .......... honest !
Pic2.
This is template of how the body turns sideways and how feet are placed with knees slightly bending - so I'm not far off executing a decent return shot.
Pic3.
This is how some play the open stance when shot making, note feet parallel with base line. This is how Nadal plays and why he has bad knee injuries and how Murray plays and his hip suffered by it - too much strain on knees & too much rotation of hips !
Kayaking, cycling & running is a breeze but the challenge is there so why not.
I need to Bielsafied technically anyway !

*Sorry for thread interruption folks.
All makes sense but if you look at your left foot the weight is back on the heal and outside and should be more balls of feet and the transfer to the outside as you hit the ball. But if it works it works.
Don't forget to hit the court judge in the throat with a well timed volley as well.
If you read Newsnow, you'd think we were the only club doing any kind of business (rumoured or not), and here we have tennis lessons,![]()
