Just read that Gvardiol would prefer to go to RB Leibzig. Leeds offer though is slightly higher than Leipzig's so there is a remote possibility. Rodrigo de Paul prefers to stay in Italy if possible. Prefers Juventus. Now Zenit have entered the picture. So Leeds are now unlikely to get either player. From the Liverpool game I feel the main deficiency at Leeds is defending set pieces. Not sure what sort of player we need to improve that.

That back four had never played together before and VVD is one of the most physical players in world football - wouldn’t read too much into it.

Ayling, Struijk and Koch I think are all good enough to become more dominant at set pieces especially Struijk. Part of the interest in Gvardiol is supposed to be because he is a bit of a physical beast.

They could start by keeping Rodrigo out of the box on corners I guess 🙈🙉🙀

Rodrigo was on for Bamford, Bamford ALWAYS defends corners - and quite well I might add, asking why he was in the box for a corner amazes me.
