Another defeat - not been the best week allround for the club, first team U23s, and now tonight. Credit to Hull, but we should have had more than enough class to seen them off. Need to get back to winning ways, regardless of what team is playing, losing not a great habit to get into early days into season. Defending in general needs a massive improvement, and the never ending transfer sagas need sorting asap.

I'm sure we all would like to win these games, but I'm more worried about our depth than the result after that performance!

Probably but I don't know why as this kid is all class if anything id replaces him with the Koch on last effort.

What’s the fu cking point if wer going to go out in the first round. Defeat breeds defeat.
Can’t see us on a trip to Wembley anytime soon that’s for sure.

Ps. I don’t like getting beat.
Today's effort proves that MB was right all along keeping the same starting line up most games as isn't much else there.

I think it's more about the group not working as a team rather than how good they might be in the first team with better players around them individually. Shackleton was playing but isn't a bad player when he's in the first team just to mention one.

Yes I know with better players around them they look better, But today's performance we had a lot of experience out there and didn't help much. Casilla Douglas Rod Roberts Macedonian Marvel Stugg Shackelton Pov That is a lot of experience out there against a team of made up players 2 divisons lower.

I know we probably didn't care much about the cup game as MB would have brought in the big guns in the second half but it was so disappointing to watch players we may need to call up due to injuries so on.
