I would agree that maybe we should be " taking a knee" against poverty in general definitely. The issue with blacks is that they are particularly prone to it but accept that many whites are in poverty as well. Maybe we should be kneeling for a APM. (Anti poverty movement) I would be happy to support that since that should encompass everybody.

Would you be happy to support the APM?

When there are some tangible movements towards black equality.

Or the fans dicide to take their support somewhere else
Why would they not want equality in the world? What is wrong with wanting everyone to be given a fair crack of the whip?

Choice in what? Should you be allowed to choose something that makes others lives miserable? How woul d it feel if someone chose something that made your life miserable? Do you understand what poverty is? Have you ever experienced it? If you have surely you of all people would have sympathy for those who are in it through no fault of their own...

World hunger/ poverty prove it does not work. If it did there would be no such thing as hunger and poverty.
Well said comrade, but wait are you not forgetting the 60 million plus dying in China from starvation and around 10 million in Russia, plus other tinpot dictators taking many of their oppressed to an early grave

About the two clubs which I’ve highlighted on other posts but I think you know that.

You’ll also find on previous threads that I was brought up in a poor family but made a choice to better myself and I don’t let anyone I know starve so don’t start

Of course, as long as it wasn't just a movement to simply hand out cash.

As for taking the knee, I remember a few years ago when people were getting pressured into doing the 'ice bucket challange'. I was challenged but didn't do it because I wasn't comfortable doing it. I kept getting messages asking when I was going to do it. I donated. In fact I donated to MND quite recently as well.

It's a similar situation with sports people taking the knee. Some people may not feel comfortable doing it but they are being pressured and they are in the limelight. When people don't do it, it gets brought up.

Maybe the EFL are just doing it for the first home game of the season?

Not all season like the Premier League.

Sky seems to be the main reason it's continuing.
