People die if they don't eat. People can't get food if they can't get out to the shops or if the shops have no food left. If it wasn't for me delivering staple foods like king prawn chow mein, lamb rogan josh and 14" meat feast pizzas the covid death count would be much higher.

    Hero.

The rabid unionists are foaming at the mouth it's like follow follow on here at times.
It's getting more like a one party state every day. No dissention is allowed. Check some SNP sites to see some real vitriol.

On here the discussion started on the political decisions being taken in different areas.

    Aberdeen - caused by pubs
    Solution:
    Close pubs
    Ban house gatherings
    Travel restriction

In Glasgow - caused by house gatherings
    Solution:
    Ban house gatherings
    No ban on pubs
    No travel restrictions

Nobody from government has even bothered to try and explain why there were different approaches to these political decisions beyond there were different circumstances. If there were reasons for the more draconian approach adopted in Aberdeen than Glasgow then we'd all like to hear it. Why for example, in Aberdeen a 5 mile travel limit applied when most folk going to the pub do so locally yet in Glasgoe where house transmission is the problem is no travel limit applied when people may well be more likely to travel to visit relatives etc? It's the Government silence on why they chose to do what the did that leaves it open to interpretation. Frankly, that they said nothing, made no attempt to explain, declare asking why is to be putting forward ludicrious questions when an opposition's raison detre is to ask questions, leads to thoughts that these political decisions are different the further you are away from Nicola's political base. If there was a scientific reason behind the political decision it would be very easy to put this to bed.

It’s almost as if they’re just trying to make the best of it as they go along with a highly complex and unprecedented situation. Maybe Richard Leonard or Douglas Ross would do a far better job but the Scottish electorate will decide that soon. I don’t think the FM sits at meetings planning new ways to f*ck over teuchters.

The very fact you finished you're comment with "teuchters" without some sense of smiley to go with it confirms the central belt view of all of Scotland outwith the old industrial heartland that is the central belt.
That you completely ignore the central comment that different parts of the country seem to have been treated differently without explanation just compounds the thought that the rest of Scotland is only here to feed the central belt avarice and it's own sense of entitlement.

Anything north of Milngavie is teuchter but I suspect I’m posting this under tighter lockdown restrictions than you are. Clearly wee nippy has a NE bias. Smiley —->

First part of that proves the point. Second part gets to the bottom of it. You are under tighter restrictions than Aberdeen right now but we were under tighter restrictions than you without any explanation why. Yet you, because you are in the central belt, don't care about how the rest of the country is treated or why.

The explanation was given repeatedly. By all means question it but you can’t say it wasnt given. All these decisions are made out of a desire to protect public health. To suggest any different is just moonhowling nonsense
