That’ll be Wild Thing by Chip Taylor, then.

Jimi Hendrix used it too. I once claimed that Chip Taylor was probably unique in having a song covered by both Hendrix AND Presley.

Nae bother Brian Matthew. It's definitely Wild Thing by the Troggs I absolutely detest.

Can I dislike whole genres? New Romantics: Visage, Duran Duran, Spandau F***** Ballet.
To be fair to the brummie poseurs, they covered watermelon in easter hay once live. The audience probably thought it was a romantic interlude.

Can I dislike instruments, classes of instrument, effects, studio swickery etc?

    I can?

Keytars, pointy-headed guitars, basses with more than 4 strings, Autotune, Fairlights, sampling, sequencers, digital over-compression, Boeing 747 flight deck-proportions pedal boards...to be continued.
