I've never felt this demotivated about supporting our team and club, ever.
I can even say (very few) positive things; Wilson, Lewis and Hendrick are not the worst possible signings we could have ever made. They're clearly not Mertens, Vidal, Coutinho or Koulibaly, but they're decent for where we're at.
And more generally, we do have some good players. Dubravka and Maximim especially come to mind.
So, if we had been taken over and had hired a young, hopeful, talented manager with a modern outlook, we could have been on our way to something good, even if it takes a long time. Just the fact that we're going someplace could the fans new hope, and that's enough for anyone to support their club and attend games etc.
Personally, even with the current squad, I believe we could be a much better side if we had a more ambitious, clever manager.
But, as we all know, we are stuck with Ashley and Bruce - which is even worse than what we had before. Even with Pardew, we still had some good runs and at times a really good squad that gave us hope that we could establish our club near the top again.
We just know that we're gonna do f*ck all this season except trying to stay up, and wait for Ashley to finally sell, and that's just hard.
I’ve said this before on here and so have others - if the idiot had attempted to run the club properly, it would be worth a lot more than £300M now - look at Chelsea pre the Russian, third rate London club and now worth probably more than double what we are worth. I’m not saying he should’ve spent that sort of cash (and yes, there are likely other reasons behind the Chelsea investment than a love for a club he’d probably barely heard of beforehand) but just to allow it not to be run efficiently and allowed to grow without him sabotaging the whole blôôdy thing would’ve meant more value for his eventual end game.
Well exactly. We're told he's a brilliant businessman whereas the reality is that he had one very good idea and ran with it. And he should have stuck with it. If he'd invested properly in all aspects of the club then he'd have made his money back easily and would have avoided all the hassle he's had too.
Hassle for him is wiping his arse. Sir John made it clear that Ashley wanted to increase the exposure of Sports Direct, the club being in the Premier League did/does that and that is the reason he bought it. He's already made money from the club and won't lose a penny when he sells it.

Well said Hughie.
I don't even bothering having games on, even if it's just phone anymore.
I check my phone when I remember but that is it.
I hate it and I hate feeling this way but I just feel so meh now.
