It was just good old British seaside postcard type humour.......most of us born in the 50’s through to the 70’s “got it”.

There’s never been any accusations against Benny in all the years since he died unlike with many other performers of that era.

I think it’s safe to say your assumptions are wrong.

As a kid seeing this old grey haired fella perving around with young girls just seemed wrong, not saying he was doing anything wrong
