Blaming the pitch when we’re non league is mind blowing. Why didn’t he adapt then, go longer? What sort of f00king pitch does he expect at Dover?

No, let me explain. He took us to third place before lockdown on the back of a winning run when we were tipped by some to even overtake Barrow. You have a short and selective memory Davy!

    Ahhh, OK.

I won't mention he was the manager at the helm when we wimped out of the FL.

I won't mention he was the manager at the helm when we were HUMILIATED in the P/O's

I won't mention he was the manager at the helm when we were beaten in the Pi55pot cup cos we failed to bore Harrogate to death.

    Damn, I said I wouldn't mention................

To be fair, yes, that's not a valid excuse. We've got to be prepared for a wide variety of surfaces at this level, whether it's due to groundsman resources or gamesmanship. Other clubs are not obliged to provide us with surface that suits our style of play, and we've got to adapt to the conditions.

Davy is right though he has done nothing since he took over we have gone backwards.

Lost every big game under him apart from Barnet...Macclesfield, Harrogate x 2, Swindon.

The bloke is a loser and we are stuck with him.

We will also lose our 2 year payments after this season from the EFL.

Our midfield is slow and has no bite to it which is a key area for any level and still we have Doyle waltzing around for a full 90.

Goal - People have got to do their jobs. Loads of positives from it, but it was really tough out there. For 91 mins we did it (grind) really well.
I expected this not to be great today but we were ready for it. I thought we ground the game out really well, we had our chances but didn't take them. Players fuming.

    he doesn't sound particularly down.
*Non-league club with poor-quality pitch shock*
If he was expecting Notts to struggle because of the pitch they he may as well go because we need a team that will play in spite of the pitch and if he can't get this team going against part-timers and just-been-signed then what was the point of pre-season.

I want Ardley to succeed but this was poor.
