In my opinion there is no chance of her resigning from her £82,000 per year plus lavish expenses for her job as an MP.
She will probably do the same as the disgraced SNP MSP Derek MacKay who has done a disappearing act from Holyrood whilst still claiming his MSP salary and expenses.
With social media it should not be too difficult for 10% of the constituents in Margaret Ferrier’s constituency to sign a petition requesting that she be recalled as an MP.
I am surprised that Nicola Sturgeon and Ian Blackford have not demanded that Margaret Ferrier immediately resigned as an MP.

Islay, i recall that you drove to Dundee during the lockdown 5 mile restriction period. So you as well could have remained on Islay instead of travelling to Dundee. I also remember you visited supermarkets among other places when you were in the city.

    Hypocrisy rules DSC.

I suggest that you do your homework before posting incorrect information on this forum.
My wife and I travelled to Dundee on Wednesday 19th February 2020 and I was present at the Alloa home game and the Ayr United home game at Dens which took place on Tuesday 10th March 2020.
The Ayr United game was the last home game that has been played at Dens in front of paying spectators to date.
I can remember it well as it was freezing cold sitting in the Main Stand but at least we went home having seen the Dee win 2-0.

I suggest that you should recall your post on 03/06 2020 on this forum. You quite clearly say that ......"Just after lockdown i was speaking to Simon Murray outside Tesco....either you were making things up about being outside Tesco speaking to Simon or you were quite clearly breaking lockdown rules. Something that you called out Ian Blackford for yet you travelled to Dundee breaking the rules.

Not unless i have my wires totally crossed and Simon was in Islay shopping at Tesco, given i am not sure there is a Tesco on Islay or one within 5 miles of Islay.

So can you enlighten me who is posting incorrect information ?? All you have to do is look back at your post on that date to confirm that is indeed what you said.03/06/2020 06.45 pm it says, go have a wee look.

Can I suggest you stop posting the suggestion that I get offended by getting called Jock? What TheGen65 has pulled you up for seems valid but still you won't explain your lie about me.

Why are you lying about me and where did you get the ridiculous idea that I get offended at being called Jock?

Also, why preach about people breaking lockdown rules when you've posted that you've done so yourself?

I am totally at a loss to understand what you are posting.
I was speaking to Simon Murray who was standing at the top of the grass banking beside the Kingsway West Tesco Extra whilst I was standing on the pavement at the foot of the grass banking.
There is no Tesco on Islay with the closest one being a Texas Metro In Campbeltown.
I also own a house in Dundee where we travelled to on Wednesday 19th December 2020 and we were in living Dundee until Thursday 16th July a total of 21 weeks ind one day.
We originally planned to return to Islay the day after the rearranged home game against Arbroath FC on Tuesday 24th March.
My wife and I decided to remain in Dundee as Ninewells Hospital was close by if either of us had to be admitted if we took ill from coronavirus.
If we had returned to Islay and required to be admitted to a hospital suffering from coronavirus we would have been flown by air ambulance to a hospital in the Glasgow area. I would rather die in Ninewells Hospital than a hospital in the Glasgow area.

I look forward to reading your apology.

    I accept your explanation.

However I won't be apologising until we clear up this insistence of yours that being called Jock in some way offends me. If you clarify that, and if it's not for the reason I think, then I'll apologise for the misunderstanding.

Why do you think that Scotland would be better leaving the U.K. and becoming an independent country.
I am expecting you to give me the full facts why and not this ‘tartan Brigadoon’ dream that everything will be wonderful in an independent Scotland where the politicians will be able to pull all our own fiscal levers.

Because anything is better than being run by upper class, ignorant snobs.

Now, what makes you think I dislike being called Jock?
