Where did I say we need a manager every year? Nowhere.

Where have I said we should sack him now? Nowhere.

I simply took issue with you that :

1. He is partly responsible for our relegation. Despite you wanting to airbrush this out

2. That sacking managers isn’t always a bad thing. You state it always is. Do Liverpool, Manchester City, Barcelona, Manchester United never sack managers? Of course they do. Does it always work, of course not. Because they replace them with the wrong manager.

3. That his win record does not make him a good Notts county manager. That comparison would be equivalent of comparing his record to that of Klopp, which would be ridiculous, because they are in different leagues. Get it?
Where did I say he wasn't partly responsible for the relegation? What a ridiculous strawman argument.

Sacking managers can be a good thing yes, if you replace them with a better manager. However, even if you do that, the incoming manager's performance will suffer from the transition. How many managerial stints of two or more seasons have their best results in the first season? Replacing the manager too frequently leads to poor (or even worse) results. Case in point... Notts County.

His win record to date puts him ahead of most recent Notts managers in terms of win records. Are you suggesting he has a League two budget at the moment? If so, what is it? If we're talking budgets I'm happy to do that... with numbers.

Klopp's win record with Liverpool is 60%... not sure why you're bringing him up. Who are the recent Notts co managers you think are better than Ardley? I'm interested.
