    Unbelievable!!! He should be publicly flogged and then made to walk around Birmingham city centre in a sandwich board with the details of this cowardly act printed on it!!! Can’t believe how he’s not been named to so his employer can sack him!!

    To their credit, the lout was detained by other Villa fans until the police arrived, according to the report I read. Should be banned from football forever and made to take a long holiday at Her Majesty’s Pleasure.

    I wonder how much trouble he has caused at matches over the years. Punching a 9 year old when you are 54 isn't likely to be your first offence. Probably been banned before, but it's not easy to regulate who goes to a match.
