We beat Barcelona in the 1920s so we're equal to Real Madrid today too. Haha.

    The director at Maidstone United...
The FA and National League had a clear mandate to spend the money on lost gate revenue. What they have done is ignore this and instead allowed National League Board Members to favour some clubs with outrageous amounts of money that far exceed their gate receipts.

He's not wrong. It stinks to high heaven of the usual football corruption. Cheers for sharing ETB!

Very interesting article. I have tried to look at it from an opposing supporter 'small club' viewpoint, but it seems clear the use of this grant has been a massive failure given what it was supposed to compensate. It seems corruption and cronyism is still alive and kicking even at our level!

I wonder what would happen if thousands of football fans around the country were to report a potentially fraudulent misuse of Lottery funds in unison...

    From the government website here...

    Oliver Dowden, Culture Secretary, said:

"I know from a brilliant club in my area that National League football clubs are the beating heart of their communities and too precious to lose. This £10 million fund will provide a bridge to help clubs survive this immediate crisis whilst we work together on the safe return of fans."

Yes, I bet you do Ollie. I bet you do.

    Exactly.

    Borehamwood attendance 724 x say 3 games x say £18 = £39,096.

So we will give you £84k a month, that should ensure your survival.

You just don't see that you are the other side of the coin to KCNotts do you laddo?

Your sole agenda seems to be to attack anyone who is critical of Ardley. You have a list of "pitchfork posters" and your immediate response to anyone who thinks Ardley has been employed for too long is weirdly obsessive.

At least I'm versatile - I can annoy people on a wide range of topics, but you only stick to one!

I don't have a list. So another thing you've made up, certain people stand out clear as day especially on match threads when we concede. Something you do a lot but not as much as cherry pick and obviously not as much as you misquote people but making things is definitely your bag#bucksfizz

You conveniently ignore some laughable behaviour from some of the angry mob, KCNotts aka MIA being a prime example recently. He and DavyFacts don't even try to hide their one sided agenda. I respect that tbh, its blatant to the extreme. You see it, you keep quiet like a church mouse.

You are correct I am here predominately but no exclusively to highlight the stupidity, the absurd, the silly, any ridiculously OTT Kneejerk comment. If I spot a lie, a falsehood or someone making things up I will highlight it. It would be wrong not to.

This stream of sometimes stupidity needs one or two of us swimming against it to keep the pitchforks in check.

One thing I need to check is do you still think I am ultra Pro-Ardley and not as I've explained multiple times that I'm against premature sackings, high regular turnover of managers at Meadow Lane as it just doesn't work. History tells us that? We all know it, well nearly everyone

I don't what to give up on you quite yet but I do notice that you need a lot of things explaining to you, you regularly get the wrong end of the stick when reading posts and you can be very elusive when asked a direct question. It's not a great combo and combined with my one dimensional approach on NCM we drag things out horribly and ruin many a thread.

You won't have noticed this as you are least self aware person on NCM but it's there for everyone else to see.

Please, please, please stop hijacking virtually every thread with this relentless bickering. It's so tedious for everyone else!
