At the moment no...although we have had to open up our Covid ward because our isolation rooms are all full with VRE, MRSA CPe and all the others bugs that need isolation.
They get admitted onto the ward where they are treated and if and when they deteriorate, they come to the ICU.
Underlining conditions play a big part and seeing as many are obese and have Diabetes and such...there conditions can change quickly... We have changed out early practices from last March/April time as more information is gained and of course more younger people are getting it so they usually are more obese then older people.......but the infections numbers are coming in around 1,000 a day for now...
We shall see......so far no sign of a winter strain of flu which is good news....
