A definite negative, I make that three occasions now where Ihiekwe has either given a goal away or scored an own goal. He reminds of Ajayi, sometimes composed and unruffled and looks the part or, looks like a League 2 player with his gaffs. Poor positioning today allowed McClean to stroke the ball home with ease. Get a grip Michael and sort yourself out lad.

On the bright side, we didn't get hammered, we are only losing games by the odd goal, albeit this shouldn't be happening, and teams around us either lost or drew. Oh go on then......apart from Barnsley.
I think all that time underground has impacted your body clock with regards timings Brin. Yes, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat is 4 days but it was 2 games in less than 3 days, 65 hours from the end of the game Wednesday to the start of the game today

    Free agent striker required.
Ex prem or cship who can create his own chances out of nothing.
£5k a week is better than being unemployed

Must be able to sing a welcome song and likes puppy dogs at the training ground

I thought we looked nervous today we looked like us the last time we were in the championship. They weren’t much better.
Bad game we just need to move on.

Mattock slow first half. We need a good left back in the next window but how long have we been saying that? Not to blame for goal though. That was Ickys fault with the CHs heinous crime of letting a ball bounce over his head otherwise it would have been 0-0. We didnt play badly defensively but they are a big rough team and we didn't compete physically. Still lacking punch up front.
Not a terrible result against a decent Stoke side but we will now have to make sure we sure we put Luton and Preston to the sword at home,

    MOM today: Harding

Shocking performance, lacking in ideas, looked jaded. Freddie pranced about like someone off Strickly, why does he jump so early for the ball?....have a word PW,.... time for the bench.....

Big kick down the pitch, Fletcher comes short, challenges S Mac and it bounces over our defence and McCleans' gamble pays off...1-0.
Sunday morning defending. Like mentioned before, Iky at the scene of the crime......again...

We need to win at least 1 of the next 2 home games, nothing less than 4 points will do.

More possesion than the home side and no shot on target says it all PW, get it sorted......

Didn't look any better when we went 442 and had a go(lol).

I think we need a reality check.

This season was all about not getting relegated no more.

How much have stoke spent and there commentators on 70 mins was saying I would take a 1-0 now. That's a compliment.

Nothing we didn't know we have no championship striker to get a goal.

Our only chance is set peices.

We huffed and puffed but didn't do anything. The goal to concede was very dissapointibg a big kick **** really.

We are going to lose more than we win but all that matters is not been in bottom 3.

It could be worse we could be sheff Wednesday losing 1-0 at Wycombe!!

Well football is a statistical game, make chances and eventually you score.

You can make chances by classy approach play, which we don’t have the quality to do., or you can make chances via free kicks and corners. This was something we used to be good at but now we seem to have lost it.

If you don’t make enough chances then statistically you don’t score very often and to salvage a point you have to be tight at the back with 100% concentration. Today we created few chances and we didn’t keep our concentration at the back and gave away a goal that you will see regularly conceded by the Dog and Duck in the local Sunday league.

We didn’t get battered but we got the same points as we did v Reading.
