Yeh, it all seems mental. I stayed up to watch most of it last night on CNN and they’re starting to declare results while the polls are still open - crazy stuff. Also, surely their whole system needs to be looked at? As things stand, like 2000, 2016 and now possibly 2020 the Democrat is set to win the total vote (and by a big margin) yet lose on the electoral college. Surely that can’t be right?

I'll never get how a state like Florida can be split up into 29 college votes but if someone wins 15-14 then the winner on 15 will get all 29 votes added to their total. Think that was how Trump beat Clinton in 2016 even though she had 3 million more votes. Crazy voting system.

Suppose yanks could slag of our way of voting also.Last general election snp got 45% of scottish vote but got 48 out of 59 mp's.Probable no real fair way of doing elections but each country decides which way they want to do it and win or lose you just have to except the result which most people do.

I thought by tv the other one was edging it but not sure think can still go either way think trump more popular in his own country than he is over here.
