Dinna ever change the way you put stuff min.

Davey Edwards doesn't hide his orangeness (in a Speysiders way). The Red card you can hear his arse collapse through his voice and he's affa chuffed about the winner.

Shame the stream didn't work on the day as I bought a ticket.(which to be fair was refunded in less than 24hrs) Would have enjoyed listening to him all game

Hopefully I can get some games when I'm home. Get Wee Mans tally of HFL gruns up. Probablly hit the North Caley too

I really hope it gets going soon, although the logistics problems during winter will be horrendous.

I miss the Highland League much more than the SPL, and am struggling to take its unreality seriously watching atmosphere-free matches on a ****ing laptop.

OK, ... I confess ... Ah've poked fun at this thread ... but jist tae steer ****e ... for 'divvilment' if ye like

But ... Ah'm noo thinkin it might dae me some good tae go see a game sometime soon.

Ah dinna drive - so skint Ah dinna buy onythin fae ebay that disna hae free postage .... Ah bide in Ferryhill ... so.

    Recommendations welcome.

Is there a HFL club within easy getability? Or should Ah go check oot Banks o' Dee? Cove's grun is easily walkable, but ... errrrm ... nah!

Ah ken there's restrictions across the board but, Ah'm thinkin, as a self employed muso ... nae gettin the best o' support, Ah'm mair inclined tae spend fit little Ah hae on them fa need it maist!

Hopefully Ah'll hae anither sheyty wee grant soon .. be good tae spend a day oot watchin some 'proper mannie's fitba' kinda close tae hame

Huntly and Keith are on the 10 bus route, as are Locos, but I have strong negative feelings about them, and would hesitate to recommend.

Likewise Turriff and Vale on the Elgin-via-Banff bus. I have biked to Pitmedden in the past, but only on a fine day.

Bellslea's also served OK by Sturgecoach, and the animosity and fool, orra profanity are quite baroque in their decorative ingenuity.

Just to a wee bit to 57s bit

Being a Ferryhiller the train is good for you.

Keith and the Broch are my favourite grounds. So Keith is my recommendation to you. That's nae me sooking up to Vintage either. It's a great old ground is Kynoch Park. As stated in here

    http://fitbawbag.com/2020/05/28/fitb...ounds-to-date/

But you have Locos(nae fans yet), Huntly(no fans yet) Keith, Forres Mechanics(another great ground with the best pies in fitba), Nairn, Clachnacuddin aswell. Elgin in the third division is an option and is a good day out too

The Elgin bus number Vintage is on about is the 35 or 35A which graces Metropolis Meldrum en route But it takes forever due to endless stops. When I did my Highland League tour, I used it for Deveronvale(no fans yet) and Buckie(the fact Vintage missed them out wasnt lost on me) so I could get a few beers. Vale is 1hr 10 from me and Buckie just over 2hrs. Which is riddiculous if you ask me. Use it for Turriff midweekers alot towards the end of the season, again so I can get a pint

    DO NOT EVER VISIT FORMARTINE

As for poking fun. Nah you are well off the mark. It's fitba with a soul and is still reminiscent of the older game. My favourite league by good bit. Northern Football League is trying to surmount a challenge mind you. I genuinley think you will love it.

Concerning Buckie, our Jags-supporting drummer said that when he was wee, he was at Victoria Park and the only ball available (times was tight) was booted out of the ground, and as the perspiring, dubby sporting Corinthians took deserved rest from the fracas to allow its retrieval, one attendee shouted, "Nivver mind the ba, get on wi the game".

You'll get a great welcome at most grounds, NMN min. By half time, the locals will have found out so much about you that they'll offer to get you a balalaika gig as half-time entertainment at the next home game.

The 10 bus to Keith is also a **** of a journey, and worse on return. 1"50' oot, two hours back. I can drive it in 50 minutes each way.

The Scottish Government will try and prevent people traveling north to matches. I don't know if it will be enforceable. It will probably be strict initially.

I was down at Hyde United v Flyde and because Fylde were considered an 'elite' team (any team level 6 and below) their fans weren't supposed to be allowed entry. However, I spoke to Flyde fans at the game. I would doubt any team will want to turn anybody away but who knows...

I canna see it being strict

They won't enforce anything for non league fitba and a small amount of league games that are allowed fans

    11 HFL teams
    12 NCL team
    3 SPFL

Thats it. Caley and County will be the only two that get near 300 and they will all be locals. Waste of time.enforcing any rules

Bring on Scourie and Halkirk United

    Way Hyde any good
