They are not fake figures BT, one is the number of deaths 'reported' on a given date, the other is the number of deaths that 'occurred' on a given date, I believe both figures are as accurate as they can be. The FAKE NEWS occurs when slimeball politicians like Starmer pick a date when the deaths reported figure is high and pretend it's the number of deaths that has actually occurred on that date.

It's par for the course for professional liars like Starmer, it's disappointing that two esteemed posters on this board are apt to do the same

No I'm not nitpicking OC, I'm simply pointing out that your statement was wrong, it was FAKE NEWS and I've explained why, more than once now actually. It really shouldn't be too difficult to grasp why the two sets of stats are different, but they are both factual, it is clearly stated precisely what both refer to, and they are not open to any sort of interpretation, unless you want to mislead of course. If you really cannot grasp the difference between them then we'll just have to live with that, I'm not wasting my time explaining it again.

I'm not trying to say anything more than that your statement about the number of deaths on that day was incorrect, as you have acknowledged, end of story for me. As for whether cases and deaths are rising, why would I say they aren't when they clearly are, and as I've pointed out numerous times over the last few months, always were going to rise in autumn, lockdown or no lockdown. I thought we had agreed OC, I pointed out that the figure you quoted for deaths on that day was not correct, and you agreed, end of for me days ago.
