    Trump has lost it.

I don't mean the election either, although he's going to lose that as well. His actions during this election are bordering on the insane. First of all he comes out with saying that he's won it when nowhere near all votes have been counted and I don't just mean the postal votes. He's claiming fraud and any other crimes that he can think of. He's accusing the observers of not doing their jobs properly, even those being overseen by Republican officials. He's wanting voting to be stopped in some states and then wanting it to continue in others. I could go on. These are not the actions of a sane person.
The man is an insult to the position that he currently holds. Doesn't he realise what a fool he is making himself look in the eyes of the rest of the world. Thank God we'll soon be rid of this obnoxious individual.

BBC News now reporting that Biden has topped the 270 figure required to win the Presidency.

As an aside, I saw recently that Nigel Farage was in the States sharing a stage with Trump, supporting his election bid. That says everything to me about Farage, the Pied Piper of Brexit.

Glad Trump has gone as he's a horrible power driven nutter. That said - Biden is getting on for 80! How can an 80 year old run a super power of the World? Makes no sense whatsoever and the guy should retire gracefully.

Some years ago, some group nominated a Ficus Tree for Congress in the state of New Jersey. The Ficus Tree won, well, it had more votes than any other candidate but was disqualified because it was deemed not to be a New Jersey resident! Says a lot about US politics.

    Trump is deranged.

But so are a huge number of Yanks on both sides of the political divide.

Nowhere exists outside their own country for most of them.

You are right there Mick! Remember staying at this lovely holiday complex in Florida about a year ago and all US families and we were the only Brits. The entertainers put on a quiz for the kids and at least 25 entered mainly from 10 to 16. One of the questions was - What's the capital of England. Incredibly and with utter disbelief - not one knew the answer!

Yes, Trump is awful but his replacement has no charisma at all and is, to me, utterly uninspiring. In response to a request for a comment for the BBC, he replied ‘I’m Irish’! If he were Irish, he couldn’t be the President of the United States. A couple of years ago he posed for a photograph with Gerry Adams and a woman charged with Irish terrorism. That bodes well for US-UK relations. Also seen a clip of the woman who is going to be his Vice President, what a wet. The World is probably having a sigh of relief that Trump is going but it will be just as dangerous if these two taking over turn out to be useless.

Agree 100% with this. Just because Trump is better off gone doesn’t make Bidon a good option. He does come across as anti British I’ve always felt and is just too old at nearly 80. Like Trump, I really cannot see this guy doing more than one term. It’s a bit like the U.K. with Boris and Corbyn, One has got elected because the other is so awful not because they’re good or have a lot to offer
