Blowupsheep is spot on with his assessment of Cosgrove. His strike at goal was decent but only that. He just hit it with the outside of his foot (nothing spectacular about that) and it hit the net....it’s what he is paid to do. The rest of his time on the pitch was dreadful. He will need to up his performances a notch or preferably two if he wants to be taken seriously. Now Ferguson is on the penalties it will be interesting to see how many Cosgrove scores in a season.
For what it’s worth I don’t dislike the fella....I just think we as a club try to make him sound better than he actually is. He is a donkey but he has scored a few goals. The penalties will be an issue though.
