Look people 63 possession to 37 1-4 says it all this gameplan is crap. It's like one-way ponies. We got away with it in the championship but the premier league is a different cattle of fish. Costas's own goal was a joke was so slow-motion I could have saved it. The headed goal, a top keeper would have come out and punched it as it was in his area. The free-kick was a cracker no keeper in the world could have saved that.
Roberts still at the club is a joke.
The ref was top class, not his fault VAR ref was a crook and tried to tell you that dean was in charge.
But we only got ourselves to blame overall as we put ourselves in situations like this.
Also people saying with Phillips this and that well he was playing in the first couple of games where we got 4 and 3 past us.

This game plan won us the championship and got us promoted. A couple of bad results and we are throwing the towel in?

Not for me, we all knew this was going to be a steep learning curve and the objective is just to finish above another 3 teams in the league.

You, forgetting managers and players, are smarter in the premier. How many more 4 goals past us games do you need to confirm it ain't working.

Defo not forgetting, that's why I said it's a steep learning curve and stated the target is to finish above 3 other teams.

I am definitely not going to be all doom and gloom everytime we get beat, instead I intend to enjoy watching us have a go against all these premier teams. I have waited many years for this to happen and I am not going to write everything off after a couple of matches.

Nah - the established squads have much better players overall than we do. It will take 2 or 3 seasons of survival to get there. We have begun the journey with Rodrigo, Koch and Rapha and the excellent additions to the u23 who will blossom over time.

Given all that the miracle is how Bielsa can compete at all in this league and compete we halve.

If VAR hadn’t messed up then who knows. Against Leicester if Bamford scores the sitter then Barnes doesn’t and if he gets the second who knows.

In this league it’s fine margins - oh and we are great to watch too - I don’t get what’s not to like.

It's way too early in the season to be doom-n-gloom but back to back 4-1 rodgerings ain't good for morale.

Lets wait and see where we are after Christmas and if we are still losing and getting rodgered then we can all panic together.

I fully understand that bb, it just that we lost 2 almost identically, that annoys me a bit.
Feels like we were out thought by Woy and Brendan youknow.

    Two games & bizarre circumstances.

Okay, clubs gets taken over by multi-billionaires and are able to purchase world class players so essentially "buy" success and most achieve some success. Not to many will have a 1 in 100 season like Leicester did in reality.

So how do you support a team and become emotionally invested when you know that your team will most likely never win a title in your lifetime and maybe never even qualify for Europe I asked the Palace fans after the game.
Expectations came back the reply & Leeds fans expectations today are to high I was told !

I disagreed with 'em because we've now built something with strong foundations of which (in time) should be able to achieve those high expectations,IMO,after a realistic PL stability season or two.
I won't elaborate on reasons why 'cos this thread is not the place to do it but Palace & Leicester fans certainly will never have the expectations that our fans are historically pre-set with - I won't be happy mid-tabling it in seasons ahead like they are/will be.
Onwards & Upwards we will go.
