Bit of a cock-up on the old living front

Deid is 93 year old bloodhound-faced lugubrious actor Geoffrey Palmer. Butterflies’ dentist, the memorable Jimmy Anderson in The Fall and Rise of Reggie Perrin, and a factory MD in some spoof Sherlock Holmes-based QA training video I used to show when I had to deal with such pish back in the day.

What a series the original Reggie Perrin was, every character with his or her own catchphrases which summed up the total banality of working in a corporate hierarchy. CJ and Doc Morrissey's in particular were genius!

Aye. I didn't get where I am today by not understanding Engels's dialectic.

You've correctly sussed me out as an old Trotskyite!

A good, if short, discussion during this episode of the always five-star Word podcast, of Keeno's impact. The terms 'lugubrious' and 'bloodhound' are used, so maybe the national press looks in here occasionally to pilfer my analogies (is 'anal' allowed by Sibo's censors?). Fit like, you gin-soaked whores' offspring?

**** aye, min. The best hour of the week. On YouTube too, where two aul mannies swap war stories in their attics. They have guests too. Check out the Billy Bragg and Chris Difford episodes. Rock n roll platinum.

https://youtu.be/pawySOxKUAk I had a wee non-malignant lump in my cynical old throat when TBNBFB picked his best record of all-time.

And already I'm richer in knowledge.
Did no ken that Rankin had a hoose in Cromarty.
