OT Trump prematurely ejaculates

Many of Trump’s supporters are ‘inarticulate hillbillies’. There are some who vote for him as a way of objecting to the loss of jobs to countries such as Mexico and China, but in general he appeals to the bigots, the white suprematists, the gun lobby and those amongst the elderly who, not unlike many UKIP supporters, seek a return to their, possibly imaginary, halcyon days.

It’s difficult to paint a favourable portrait of a man who has said what he’s said about Mexicans, Muslims, grabbing women by their p*****s, injecting disinfectant and now appears to be the ultimate bad loser.

But not 70 million rA! I mean in Florida his support from Latino's increased! Its too easy to dismiss the Trump support as unsophisticated people, yes many are, but there is also a big base of professional folks who voted for him.

Apparently many of the older generation didn't vote for Trump this time , his handling of Covid-19 didn't amuse them!

True enough, makes you wonder. Don’t underestimate the ‘gun lobby’ though. I think the NRA has about 5.5m members but they apparently only represent around 20% of gun owners. It’s a strange and disturbing situation in a country which, pre Covid, I’d probably visited about twenty times in the last dozen years and never felt uncomfortable in. Don’t spend much time in the red bits though.
