    I wonder if we can show some tactical nous in the last 20 mins, slip a couple of extra players on and play 13 v 11.....it may help us not to concede late on.....

    Surely abandon this rule for this season would be better for EFL clubs, they should also fetch a new rule in of no subs after 90 mins unless of serious injury

    I think this is the strongest squad we've had for a long time, so if ever there was a season this rule would benefit us this is it! I think all teams being limited to a squad of 25 benefits us too.

    Whats the reasoning behind it? Is it a case of players lacking fitness due to the Covid break?

    Interst discussion with Eddie Jones on subs. He has a view there should only be many fewer subs and the fatigue should play a role in the game as it always did.

    I think it was born in the Premier league where the poor bairns there were getting tired due to having too many money making matches to kick a ball in.
