Well I don't agree with his 5 days of Christmas so I have sent him a record of The Twelve Days of Christmas because 5 is not enough and my missus wants to know what she is going to do with Six geese-a-laying: Seven swans a-swimming: eight maids a-milking: nine ladies dancing (although I have my own plans for them!): 10 lords a-leaping ( I suppose the missus could entertain them): 11 pipers piping (God forbid) and last but not least 12 drummers drumming!
Come on Boris how am I supposed to look after that lot?

Against all odds the favourite won, just as well I didn’t splash out.
I'm sure you don't need me to tell you this OC, but I'll say it anyway, don't go putting your hard-earned on 59's horse-racing tips, I know he means well, he's only trying to help, but unfortunately they just keep getting beat.

sinkov ---you are a betting man so is my nephew.
He texted me to say that Coventry v Birmingham was a draw but was a win for him ----how can a draw be a win? Is it possible that next time Clitheroe or the Clarets draw you can tell the powers that be that it is really a win ---because my nephew says so!

He could have put a bet on that the game was going to be a draw, or layed either Coventry or Birmingham on the exchanges.

I was being frivolous, he bet on the draw, however, I shall now try to convince people that a draw is a win really ----2 extra points.

I’m not a horse racing man and have only ever bet on the National a couple of times, but maybe will have to change. My grandson has got a job as a stable lad after a stint at the British Racing School. Hope he doesn’t get the trots! Lol
