Absolutely, I want Notts to win every match 10-0. That's ob not gonna happen but a mega spawny 3-2 win will do for me. I didn't shell out money for a stream of the pish poor match either, so it's a double celebration !!!

If NCM this season can be summed up in a post and a reply then that's it.

I didn't watch the game so can't comment on the performance but a much needed three points and maybe the kick start we've been looking for. I'll take a win and move onto the next one.

That was certainly a get out of jail win today and it was pleasing that we managed to score two goals in stoppage time to restore the lead that we had taken mid way through the first half. So it's good that we got the win and all three points and yes I'm celebrating as all Notts fans should.

However this cannot distract or mask that once again the overall performance was not acceptable. We had a positive attacking threat for the first 23 minutes and the last 12 minutes plus stoppage time when we had gone behind.

So questions need to be asked why is it that we did nothing after we scored, but invited pressure from Chesterfield and conceded and let them come into the game for the remainder of the first half? Then after the restart why is it that second half we did nothing positive in terms of attacking play or have any meaningful chances for over half an hour.

Once we had gone behind on 78 minutes then it woke us up and we then had four corners albeit with no end product in the next ten minutes. When we did get forward we scored two just like that.

In future games we've got to improve and show some ambition and attacking intent for longer periods of the game and to repeat the same old tired line when we take the lead we have got to dominate and kill the game off.

This win I believe is really damaging to the future of the club. If we truly had a side worthy of the budget and time put into it, with automatic promotion a realistic goal a 4-0 win would be the more acceptable outcome. Desperately sorry Ardley has escaped yet again, but his luck will run out at some point even though our promotion chances will have disappeared before he does.
2-1 down going into injury time and your team wins...

Are you telling me that if you'd been there you wouldn't have cheered when the goals went in - get real mate

Just popped in to see how we did as my interest in Notts is in decline. I would much rather that a decent bloke (Ardley) found his form then that we go through the rigmarole of changing managers and crossing our fingers that the right decision was made.
The degree of negativity and sheer nastiness on this fred is disappointing.
Thank goodness Swaley at least recognises that a game is 90 plus minutes long and doesn't end the minute you go a goal down.

Can we run a poll how many on here are celebrating the injury time 3-2 away victory and how many aren't?

I think it's safe to say Biker isn't.

Irish I bet you were spitting feathers when we rudely scored the equaliser and winner in injury time. Hope the cats ok?
