Decent performance, pretty unlucky overall. We went too direct/hoof ball for about 20 mins in the second half but we’ll play much worse than that and win this year.

Kind of frustrating not to win but it’s another game unbeaten and plenty of hope for the coming games.

I think it would be harsh for people to think that Notts have reverted to how we were in away games a couple of weeks back.

It was the correct mindset and performance with an attacking threat and many chances created and lots of possession. The worrying thing is when we have gone away from home and done nothing. This game was not like it.

Seeing it live that was a penalty all day long and that was unlucky that we didn’t come away with all three points. Yes Dagenham had their chances and could have also scored in the second half, but we held tight.

Whilst it may seem two points dropped to some it’s a clean sheet and point away from home and keeps our little unbeaten run going.
It’s just one of those nights and it was a good performance in general.

Ardley : "It was a penalty. Why on earth does somebody about to hit the back of the net go to the floor?..... Should have been out of sight by HT.... sort of game you can lose 1-0, we didn't do that........ we always try and play attacking..... just have to take it as one of those games..... 2nd half we got frustrated, the moment we stopped [passing it] it became a tennis match...... Sam on a fitness program, excellent today.... not disappointed with performance but frustrated, we was the better team and deserved to win..... Roberts back training 2-4 weeks"
