Cant help thinking we let them off the hook there. Rodrigues shud have scored twice in the first 10 minute. Sam should have made it 3-0 within 20 minutes. The rest of the game wouldnt have mattered. It is not unfair to point out this cost us just like when we concede poor goals defensively. We are not doing that now. Turner is back up to speed now and was outstanding as was Rawlinson. But goals win games we missed all our chances and bar one well taken free kick they didnt really have any. 2 point carelessly dropped

Definitely. In previous games it's been the defensive performance that has let the side down. Tonight the defence was strong and the Turner-Rawlinson partnership seems to be back to it's best in past two games. It was just that last bit of cutting edge in front of goal just missing, and a strange referee decision. Why on earth a referee would deem a striker to go to ground deliberately when they are given the ball on a plate a yard or two in front of goal for a tap in is nonsensical.

We can't say we didn't create or did not have chances. There was plenty of them to win the game by my prediction of 4-1. We've played worse and will play worse and win games.

If we carry on playing like we have done in the past three games we will give a team a good hiding soon.

You have to look at the positives, the team look like their getting into their stride now and with games thick and fast that should be a good thing. Just hope Torquay start dropping some points as apart from that I think we should be pretty optimistic this season.

I must of been listening to a different game then
Tonight the defense was strong, and Turner-Rawlinson back to the best - Really??

we could of lost quite easily in the later stages of the game , they missed a complete sitter, then hi the wood work , so yeah great defense

Still cant break these crap teams down , away from home , same story time after time , still better than last season where we lost, and whay we got a point, Ardley must have been delighted, along with the pro Ardley disciples lol

I think your right you probably were in a different universe to most of us. Just so we can get an angle on what your saying. We could have lost....thats true but most people watching the game would politely suggest we probably should have scored 4 maybe 5 times including hitting the woodwork but perhaps more importantly missing a series of sitters. So with that in mind I will be generous and say they maybe could have netted twice, thats both the only worthwhile attempts they created in 90 minutes. That makes us winners in this ludicrous cuddawuddashudda set of circumstances 5-2
As for Big Ben and Rawls they were indeed superb last night

You can never win in these arguments, we were ruthlessly clinical in the final minutes of Chesterfield when we played poor but people were calling for head saying he was lucky, then we play very well but aren't clinical and again calling for his head for that. Even if we win every game 5-0 till then end of the season as runaway champions, they will still say "I can't forgive him for the relegation and I would have got us promoted with that budget".
